Boasting of an impressive history spanning over a century, the SEAPOL Group’s name rings synonymous with experience, excellence and exemplary professionalism in the Shipping & Logistics Industry. Started in 1890 by the forefathers of the current Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. M.S.Tajudeen, SEAPOL’s roots can be traced back to the shores of Sri Lanka, the Ceylon Boat Company and in India, A.M. Ahamed & Co in 1942. A subsequent hive off paved the way for SEAPORT LOGISTICS (SEAPOL), the flagship company, to be incorporated in the year 1994.
SEAPOL is touted as the top stevedoring company with its own Cargo handling equipment and fleets at several East Coast Ports of India for handling Dry Bulk Cargo.
Having gained over a decade of experience in Bulk Logistics, Ship Agency and Management, SEAPOL started chartering and operating vessels. In order to serve their clients, the group stretched its business into Containerized cargo by establishing Freight Forwarding & NVOCC operations. Later, the group ventured into trade in minerals like Limestone, Gypsum etc. and as a value addition, it is further diversifying to manufacture lime products.
